The Hoover Institution will present a new speaker series centered around The Human Prosperity Project on Socialism and Free-Market Capitalism. The topic of Opportunity and Income Inequality will be presented by Edward P. Lazear, Morris Arnold and Nona Jean Cox Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Davies Family Professor of Economics at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Lazear served at the White House from 2006 to 2009, where he was chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers. He will be joined by Lee E. Ohanian, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and a professor of economics and director of the Ettinger Family Program in Macroeconomic Research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
