The Silicon Valley Association of Republican Women’s monthly meeting will feature Larry Sand, former teacher and current President of the California Teachers Empowerment Network (CTEN). His topic will be “What is wrong with this picture?” where he will discuss that in spite of spending 50% of all general revenues on education, California students rank 48th in math and 60% of Cal State students need remediation.
