The Tri-Valley Republican Women Federated will host a dinner meeting with guest speaker Lance Izumi. He is Senior Director of Education Studies at the Pacific Research Institute, the author of several books on education, and a member of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, among other distinctions. Izumi served as chief speechwriter for Gov. George Deukmejian. Topic: “Observations on Common Core and other Key Education Issues”.
