The Silicon Valley Chinese Association (SVCA) Foundation has invited civil activist Edward Blum to discuss “A Legal Challenge to Admission Policies of Prestigious Universities.”  He will be joined by  attorney Will Consovoy, as well as a slate of renowned experts on equal opportunities for education, including Ward Connerly and Prof. Chenming Hu.  The movement against SCA-5 last year made local Asian Americans aware of the need to participate in the political process. SVCA is one of the leading Asian American organizations that has filed a legal complaint regarding unfair admission policies.
