The election of Peter Kuo would send to Congress a representative with both entrepreneurial and financial experience.
Among Peter Kuo’s reasons for running are to bring Silicon Valley values to Washington, to preserve the American Dream for our children, and to serve the nation, as well as the community.
Kuo lists four priorities if elected to Congress. He would work to assure local control of education policy and to assure that healthcare is affordable, available, and transportable across state lines. He would work to assure that Silicon Valley remains the innovation capital of the world. And he would work across the aisle to end gridlock in Washington.
Peter Kuo manages his own insurance agency, which currently has over 3,000 clients. He has also founded three companies, including True 3D®, his own marketing company, which promoted companies’ products in 3D printed media. Today, this company serves as a consulting firm in bringing green technology to the world consumer market.
Kuo has been involved in three non-profit boards, serving on the board of directors for Life Chronicles, the American Cancer Society and the Rotary Club of Hua Ren in Silicon Valley.
Congressional district 17 is at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay in Silicon Valley and includes Fremont, Milpitas, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and North San Jose. See the map. It is the first majority Asian-American district in the mainland United States.
