The Republican Club at the Villages will host a discussion of two measures that will be on the June San Jose ballot, including the proposed extension of the existing parcel tax for neighborhood schools, and the renewal of the existing Library Parcel Tax. Speaking on the parcel tax extension will be Kathy Gomez, Superintendent of Evergreen Schools. She has held positions as teacher, principal, Director of Educational Services and is currently in her third year as Superintendent. Jill Bourne, San Jose Library Director, and Pat Wolfe, member of Friends of the Library and a committee member to support the Library Tax, will speak in support of Library Parcel Tax.
Snacks and coffee will be provided, or you can bring your own beverage. People attending from outside the Villages should email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to get on a list that the gate guard will have.
