January 15 is the deadline to submit applications for the 2014 Santa Clara County GOV 101 Academy. The 10-week program provides a comprehensive overview of County government, its role and responsibilities, as well as the program and services offered by the County.

The 2014 academy will hold its first session on February 11. Application deadline is January 15. Most sessions will occur on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. One half-day session will take place on a Saturday. A graduation ceremony will be held at the end of the academy during a Board of Supervisors meeting.
