The Commonwealth Club will host a reception and presentation by California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye. Jeffrey Brand, Dean and Chairman, Center of Law & Global Justice at the University of  San Francisco Law School will be the Moderator. The first Asian Filipina American and second woman to serve as the State’s Chief Justice, Cantil-Sakauye will report on the state of the judiciary and the impact three years of cumulative budget reductions have had on the courts and the public.
