    State of the Union Address


    Tuesday, February 5, 2019

    President Donald J. Trump will give the State of the Union Address after being delayed for one week. The Democrat response will be given by Stacey Abrams, unsuccessful candidate for Governor of Georgia.

    Barring any further changes, the State of the Union address is now scheduled to air at 6pm PST on ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, PBS NewsHour and Telemundo. The speech will also be available for live-streaming via NBC News.

    The Napa Valley Republican Women Federated will host a luncheon meeting with guest speaker Arik Housley. Arik’s daughter, Alaina, was murdered in a mass shooting at the Borderline in Thousand Oaks, California, on November 7, 2018. Arik and his wife, Hannah, have now started Alaina’s Voice Foundation to help raise awareness of mental health issues in our society.  Topic: “Societal Change and How to Handle Gun Violence”.

    Registration opens at 11am; Business Meeting at 11:30am; Lunch at Noon; Program 12:30.
