Friday, May 1, 2020Effective Monday, April 27, Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare (SHC – VC) in coordination with the cities of Pleasanton, Livermore and Dublin and the Alameda County Fairgrounds will be operating a drive through testing site for COVID-19 for residents of these cities. The testing site will be open Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or while supplies last, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. If capacity is reached and hours of operation are changed signage will be posted at the gate 12 entrance of the fairgrounds. No appointment is needed. Testing is available to patients with or without a physician order.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will host the 2020 Salute to America on the South Lawn of the White House and Ellipse. In addition to music, military demonstrations, and flyovers to honor our Nation’s service members and veterans, the President will deliver remarks that celebrate our independence and salute our amazing heritage. The evening will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display over the National Mall.For timing, check with Fox News, which will cover the event.
