    The Conversations Salons are private, intimate, elegant and relaxed, structured and moderated social gatherings. They are about bringing people together through stimulating and engaging conversation on culture, life, politics, current events, art, and a variety of other substantive topics. Hoping to create the opportunity to revive the art of intellectual conversation, we have been hosting the Conversation Salons since 2013.

    Format: Moderated group conversation on relevant topics suggested in advance by everyone attending. Games to help us connect. Informal conversational time over dessert.

    81st Annual Memorial Day Observance at Golden Gate National Cemetery

    Join us by honoring our fallen heroes on Memorial Day at Golden Gate National Cemetery.

    The band concert begins at 10:30. At 11:00, join emcee Capt. Hank Scherf, U.S. Navy (retired), and speakers Dave C. Prakash, M.D., U.S. Air Force veteran and COL Deborah Dacumos, U.S. Army (retired).

    The event will feature the San Andreas Brass Band, Bagpiper, Vocalists, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard, Gold Star Family wreath presentation, 31st Regiment, U.S. Volunteers rifle salute, and a fly-over by U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco. Presented by the Avenue of Flags Committee.
