Republican Central Committee

District 1

Matt Wendt – Attorney – Leads Election Integrity activities for the Republican Central Committee.  Head of the South County Congress of Republicans which has worked to elect Republicans as Mayor and City Council members in South County.

Enrique Navarro – Government Affairs Associate – works for Santa Clara County Association of Realtors protecting our private property rights! Former SVGOP elected member.

Jim Zito – Governing Board Member, Evergreen Elementary School District – an elected official working to educate our kids the right way.

Khanh Hoang – Data Scientist/Engineer – As a member of the Central Committee, Khanh is the go-to expert on all things technology and data related.  An invaluable resource for our party.

Don Hsieh – Marketing Consultant – Extensive experience as a senior corporate marketing executive.  Currently serves as the alternate for Lanhee Chen on the Republican Central Committee.

Himat Singh Bainiwal – Attorney – A small business owner who runs an estate planning practice that serves his community.  Party service includes officer of the California Young Republicans and alternate member of the SVGOP.

District 2

Shane Patrick Connolly – Small Business Owner – Chairman of the Republican Central Committee of Santa Clara County.  Has successfully led the SVGOP in helping to elect school board members, city councilmembers and mayors.  Serves on the executive committee of the California GOP.

John Crossman – Business Owner – Runs a fintech start-up in downtown San Jose.  Appointed member of the SVGOP, he is an active volunteer and donor for our party.

Ron Rickard – Past President, Willow Glen Creek Homeowners Association.  Active in bringing Major League Soccer to San Jose.  Retired Senior Quality Engineer at UPS.

District 3

David Mac – Incumbent – Leader of the Vietnamese Republicans in Santa Clara County.  Long-time member of the Republican Central Committee who has helped many GOP candidates.

Roger Riffenburgh – Small Business Owner – Editor of the BayAreaGOP.com website and newsletter.  Former GOP nominee for State Assembly and officer of the SVGOP.

JoAnn Barr – Real Estate Broker – Angel Donor and former officer of the SVGOP.  Active in SPARC and the Republican Women Federated.  Delegate to the CAGOP.

Victor San Vicente – Retired Engineer – Vice President of the East Valley Congress of Republicans.  Former GOP nominee for State Senate.

District 4

Jeff Stanley – Business Owner – Vice Chairman and Finance Chairman for the Santa Clara County Republican Central Committee.  Responsible for raising the funds that sustain the committee.

Michael Snyder – Incumbent – Elected member, Campbell Union School District Governing Board.  Former GOP nominee for State Assembly. 

Robert Varich – Incumbent – Owns Pinnacle 1 Insurance Brokerage.  Responsible for maintaining the headquarters building owned by the SVGOP.   Serves as Regional Vice Chair for the Lincoln Club of Northern California which provides financial support to Republican candidates.

Ardis Jackson – Small Business Owner – Current alternate on the Republican Central Committee.  Active Young Republican and member of SPARC (South Peninsula Republican Coalition.)

Peter Kuo/Karen Hardy – Peter Kuo is the former Vice Chair of the California Republican Party.  Karen Hardy serves on the Santa Clara City Council.

District 5

Luis Buhler – Chief Financial Officer – Publisher of BayAreaGOP.com website and newsletter.  Works as consulting CFO in the tech industry.  Heads candidate development and serves on the finance committee for the Santa Clara County Republican Central Committee. Member of the CAGOP executive and rules committees. Past delegate to Republican National Convention. Volunteer CFO for the Lincoln Club of Northern California.  Treasurer, California Congress of Republicans.

Nick Rajkovich – Business Owner/Farmer – Active in campaign for Liz Lawler for State Assembly.  Current SVGOP alternate and CAGOP delegate.  Five generations of family ties to San Jose and the Almaden Valley.

Jayne Ham – Business Owner – Jayne is the president of SPARC (South Peninsula Area Republican Coalition www.sparcgop.org).  She is a current California state delegate and past national delegate in the Republican Party.

Chuck Page – Saratoga City Councilmember – Former Mayor.  Past President of the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.  Helped sustain Saratoga’s business community during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Former GOP nominee for California State Senate.

John Ruckstuhl – Manufacturing Electrical Engineer – Angel Donor and active precinct volunteer for the Santa Clara County Republican Party.
