Members of the Lamorinda Republican Women Federated are encouraging friends and colleagues to join a Christmas card campaign for the troops in Afghanistan. Operation Letters for Our Leathernecks is being coordinated by KSFO and Brian Sussman. Members of the Lamorinda RWF wish to honor a local soldier and former candidate for State Assembly who called home on Thanksgiving and told his dad how sad it was that most of the guys don’t get any correspondence from home or care packages like he receives.
