The CA State Auditor will accept application from June 10 – August 9, 2019 for the Citizens Redistricting Commission. A press conference will be held in San Jose to kick off the process. Other states now embrace the citizens model created by a vote of the people in 2008. The Commission will be made up of 14 members and is tasked with redrawing the district lines for California’s Congressional districts as well as for the State Senate, the Assembly, as well as the Board of Equalization.
